It’s not often that a fish and chippery makes the list of essential eats for any city, but Fisherman Fish Shop & Kitchen pulls that off. The simple menu adopts the “choose your own adventure” approach: Pick your local fish, such as Arctic char or haddock; pair it with a side of fries, sweet-potato mash, or creamy barley; and top it off with tartar, piri piri, or horseradish sauce, among other options. You can also branch out to à la carte options, such as a fish stew sandwich, fried cod tongues, or fish balls.
